Another poem, Lovelies.
This one took quite a bit of time to write, as I'm not particularly good at expressing myself via words. At one point, I thought I already possessed a large enough vocabulary to express myself with, but words are fleeting within my mind. Music, sound, vibration is where I express myself best, yet I still write.
So, I've been on a quest to expand my words, my voice. One particularly lovely way I've been doing so is through reading a collection of works known as "Mind is The Master." by James Allen. Very enlightening, inspiring, and mentally (vocabulary wise included) challenging.
Here's the poem, inspired by the very same works mentioned above.
What is 'salvation' but man's onus to creation
For man has tarnished their self
With pugnacious ethos
That strips the Earth
Of Life
And Worth.
Hear Ye,
Scion of Stars
Thy psyche lies in desuetude
Bound by mental bars
While oceans of infinitude
Ripple afar.
Ouroboros,
Self consuming snake
Shed your skin
Forget your ways
As I say to Ye there is none Sin
Other than iniquity against the Self
Aye, I tell you
When the rich
Hoard the Wealth
And throw their fellow Man
Into a ditch for
Another sales pitch
His intentions bewitch
Transgressions unto his Soul
For, Man enslaves Their Self.
Inside Winter cold
Frostbitten, frozen
Therein lays the dormant Spirit
Ever sleeps that Flame
For it knows no shame
Only LOVE
Seeking to unify
Opposites in Motion
Within this Eternal Dance.
Aye, Man, I tell Ye
Do not Despair
The seed is already planted
Despite Evil's Glare,
Light will prevail.
And Man will Rise from the ashes,
For none could break his chassis.
When darkness passes,
the light of Dawn flashes
Upon the face of the Earth.
Turn Ye face to the light,
and know All you are worth
You are worth it, My Dears. - Nova
Do not Despair. ♡
Nova, I would say you expressed this beautifully … From my highest self to yours, thank you. I needed that. Intensely. Thank you for sharing yourself and your writing with us this way. 💚
Edited to add this bit gave me chills: “Hear Ye,
Scion of Stars
Thy psyche lies in desuetude
Bound by mental bars
While oceans of infinitude
Ripple afar.”
Just … wow.
Had me at ouroboros... been thinking on that alot lately, on soooo many layers.
Winter gives us the rest we need to Bloom in spring, grow in summer, reflect in autumn, and return to rest once again(hopefully with resonating knowledge spiraling upward to the heavens?)
