Week of 11/02/25, Community Activity:
Channeling the rainbow light of Metatron, I sought a subject for the first weekly community activity. It seems highly appropriate, and almost silly that I didn't consider the subject myself. Metatron and the chorus yielded some answers, as well as inspiration. This post is based on the oracle card I drew and the message I received to share for our further development.
Activity: The Empty Mirror

Task: Approach a mirror and look at yourself. Truly look at yourself. Examine your face, your flaws, and your strengths. Feel pride in every inch, every blemish.
Step back and ask yourself, "Who am I?"
Stare at the mirror.
Stare at the Avatar that lends you no answers.
If only it could. It would be so much easier to find the 'flaws' within ourselves, if only they were visible at skin level. Yet, what we consider flaws are actually some of our greatest strengths.
Know that yielding, surrendering, and allowing yourself to love those flaws opens you up to a greater love than all others.
Are you obese? Do you have lots of freckles? Do you have a crooked smile? If so, rejoice. These are temporary things, temporary moments in a vast ocean of them. Take a moment to examine these beautiful flaws which many others do not have. Take time to sit and realize that society's view of beauty is often arrogant, ignorant, and downright flawed because of itself.
Yet, the soul is not the vessel. For this reason, we do not stop here on this journey of the empty mirror. It is but one part of loving the perfection of cosmic radiance inherent in ourselves.
Purge your psyche of the illusion of self, and grasp the tendrils of absolution. You do not need to be allowed to love yourself. You do not need to change in order to love yourself. You change BECAUSE you love yourself. You do not need the permission of society to be confident in how you look. Those who speak ill of your appearance are often riddled with self-hatred, projecting their disordered minds on those whom they see as easy targets.
Now, with this said, push them from your mind and turn now to the empty mirror.
How many of your thoughts, concepts, beliefs, and patterns were projected onto you by others? Your parents, your siblings, your bullies, your rivals, your ex-lovers...? Are you YOU? Or are you THEM?
Metatron asks you this:

"Who are you? Who are you? Who are you?
Are you the rat stuck in a trap?
Are you the sailor sinking at sea?
Are you the druggie, injecting your pain?
Are you the charlatan, cast out by your peers?
Or are you the supreme love
The supreme hope
The supreme belief
in the tomorrow we sow?
Are you brave enough to cast off your fears
and seek inside, the love—radiant,
a beacon for your traitorous kin?
Forgiveness is a gift we first forge within
through the love of unconditional, true resplendent self.
Who are you? Who are you? Who are you, beloved?
But a piece of the cosmic, my long-awaited cousin."
Metatron asks you now to speak your truth. Rip away the preconceived notions you thought you knew about yourself and cast them aside. Where is the blank canvas hiding in the dark cave of lies? Speak what you were once afraid to think. Shout at the heavens and tell us your truths, for we love the weirdos, the kooks, and the screws-loose. They are the ones who see through the upside-down, through the false light, through the veil of deceit.
With holy light, burn away the doubts. Plant seeds of a new kind of spring. Be not afraid of the hideous things. What must be born must die and what must die must return to dust. To begin, we first must see the end. To be reborn, we must rip apart the old. In the settling dust of a dying system, be bold, be brave, and be light-driven. You are you, love in utmost precision.
"Carry on my wayward son,
there'll be peace when you are done
lay your weary head to rest
don't you cry no more." - Kansas, Carry on my Wayward Son
"This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth living in" - Genesis, The Land of Confusion
"Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again, after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground" - Talking Heads, Once in a Lifetime
End Channeling.
Looking at oneself in the mirror is braver than to point the finger at others. Thank you for the message!
Wow we got some powerful people here... I like the analogy with the mirror... to look at ourselves and find true truth. It is going to take guts
Thank you. This is empowering. I like the "be a beacon to your traitorous kin" part the best! Love
It took me awhile to have the strength to do this. I tried a few times and as usual, I shyed away from my image. I have been asking myself why that is. Your challenge gave me the strength to face my physical self. I have gotten older since I last looked. But the strange thing is, I recognize myself now. Before the mirror startled me. I have always been amused by it. "Is that really me?" I'd ask myself. That doesn't look like me. Had a hard time figuring out what that meant for awhile but I understand myself now. I love my face. I have scars on my lips, I don't wear makeup, there are a lot more wrinkles, but lots of them are from laughing now and the worry ones aren't so defined. I still feel odd. But this is my face. And for once.... I'm starting to look like me. Thank you for the challenge. That's all I can write about it for now.
Btw love wayward son, my oldest son was born when it was playing. It has a very special meaning for me.
Wonderful post. Full of love and insight as usual. Thanks Incarna!
I am so glad you posted this! I have been thinking about this all day. I really love the idea of a weekly challenge and wanted to suggest it myself! That's so cool you did, and I love this one especially. It will actually be very challenging and I'm looking forward to it. Using a mirror in this way was something I used to do, and I don't know what happened but I stopped because I was scared of what I saw in the mirror. I am going to take some time, and work on this. Thanks a lot, Incarna and Metatron!!
