Digging around Reddit, found a post briefly describing "Project Preserve Destiny". Ben Sherman was in the US Air Force, and groomed to be an "intuitive communicator". He wrote this 59 page PDF containing his experiences.
This material is not on the "inspirational" side of things per se, but instead one individual's experience with training for telepathic communication - and eventually getting to put the training into use. The details conveyed in his ET conversations seem to match up with what Prudence has relayed. The topics covered are quite different, of course. I hope this community will find it an interesting data point which perhaps triggers some "aha!" moments in some of you, as it did for me.
(Spoiler) A snippet of one of the reveals early on:
The experiment that I’m referring to was, and still is, named 'Project Preserve Destiny.' It started in 1960 and was fully operational by 1963. It was a genetic management project with the sole purpose of cultivating human offspring so that they would have the ability to communicate with the greys. Your mother was initially abducted in 1960 for tests, then again in 1963 for the actual genetic procedure while you were in the womb.
Another snippet describing the difficulty of transcribing telepathic communication into words (which as we know from Prudence is a challenge!):
I have no choice but to write the contents of the comms with my alien contacts in a conversational format, like two humans talking. The actual comms were much more rich in texture and informational in content but in ways I am unable to convey to the reader on paper.
Would be interesting to hear any direct contactee's thoughts on the flattening sinewaves / mentally humming a note / "click" in the mind / etc. described, and how things may match up with their own experiences!
Potential points of discussion:
Thoughts on the overall validity and truthfulness of the account
Might the NHIs he communicated with be from the not-so-good camp?
The pills taken - purpose, and potential contents
Any takeaways for meditation, frequencies, telepathy, etc.
I'm not a direct contactee, but I read Sherman's account of Project Preserve Destiny a couple of months ago and found it to be a very believable account. For example:
the story sounds like it was written by someone in the military (very straightforward, just the facts, does not speculate very much)
Aside from the extraordinary claims of telepathy with the greys, there is really not too much detail. For example, he does not know/understand how he interacted with his training computer. And in an interview with Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM he says something along the lines of "if I was making this up, I would have made it more interesting". If he was just trying to sell books, I would expect some "juicier" details. Though he does say he was trying to make some money for schooling.
In that interview, he comes off very level headed.
When asked why he never asked his mother about her abduction and the genetic modification of his self as a fetus, he says "I'm more concerned with my relationship with my mother than trying to validate the story to others."
I've also wondered about the white pills that he is told to take before his telepathy sessions. Could be anything of course, but I'm curious if it was a placebo. The idea that it might be a way to control the telepaths into thinking that they need this substance to do the work.
