Greetings Prudence and team,
As I read the main posts on this site, I think there are some changes and procedures that will help make the content more digestible to new readers, and also easier to study.
Before I make my suggestions, I want to acknowledge that (1) they, like most other things, are easier said than done; and (2) what is ideal for me might not be for other members of the community. That said, my suggests are:
List full names of entities in transcripts
When reading the transcripts with multiple NHI entities I often got them mixed up. D, M, E, F, Z, V, C, L and AU. And just now we got FM, HM, and EB. Not to mention the mysterious Q character always questioning A…
A few options that make sense:
at the top of a telepathic transcript, a simple key (i.e. “D” = Damien, “M” = Mantis, etc.) would go a long way to remind us who is who. I noticed you did this in the most recent transcript, so bravo! Please continue to do this.
better yet, would be to use the full name instead of the abbreviation in the transcript itself. At a glance P and D are easier to confuse than Prudence and Damien.
Full names are resilient to one-stroke typos. For example, one line (18 Feb 2025) reads “E+Z+G: Except you will not be enduring this test alone.” I’m pretty sure G is a typo for D. But if it was written as Gamien, I’d be a lot more sure.
Have full name monikers along with abbreviated names.
Related to the point above, I think it would be easier to form an idea of a particular NHI if we give them full names (as opposed to only one letter abbreviations). I can understand avoiding a name since they don’t care too much for names themselves. But it would assist my under-evolved human brain to better able to grasp who/what they are and what message they are trying to convey
Have a reference page for entities
Related to the point above (again), a reference page as a “cast of characters” of sorts would be helpful for the new reader who hasn’t read previous posts where an entity was introduced. I’ve begun tracking the entities myself in this spreadsheet. Feel free to borrow or use it as you like: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aKSzHFTg_tzzyn7TflacHFYGkae_Cv-HexwT8qiMosQ/edit?usp=sharing
(see the “entities” tab)
Number the posts
Giving the main posts serial numbers would make each post easier to reference. If you wanted to implement this, you could add a post’s number in parentheses before the title (what I would do), or you could have the number at the beginning of the post’s main text. Another benefit of this is that it would be more obvious if information got removed or inserted (in the case of inauthentic copy).
This numbering is what I did here with the “JRP #” column in this spreadsheet that tracks the main posts on this jrpudence: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aKSzHFTg_tzzyn7TflacHFYGkae_Cv-HexwT8qiMosQ/edit?usp=sharing
(see the "posts" tab)
Be more explicit with censored information
Prudence, when you use ellipses (...) to signify censored information I sometimes get confused. It can get mixed up with an ellipse used to mean a trailing off statement. And sometimes it’s not clear the type of information thats being censored. I would suggest being as specific as your can be, e.g: [name], [location], [location on earth], [noun], [race/group], etc.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. Thank you for your consideration, and let me know if I can help.
It is amazing you spent so much time and energy tagging and documenting every post. I love the passion and efforts you put into the suggestions
I have had thoughts in the past about documenting these info's with the help of AI + RAG Vector Search so anyone can look up previous questions/answer more efficiently.
This information is so incredibly useful in helping develop that :)
10/10. Great suggestions! My (lack of) attention span is very thankful. As am I!
Dear Stevie, thank you very much for taking the time and care to present your feedback and possible solutions. They will be strongly considered.
Man this is really good 👍 ty for doing this
Thanks for these thoughts. So the community is aware, there will soon be some major updates and additions to the readability and organization of the content. Feel free to DM me for more information or specifics, and all suggestions are welcome.
paragraphs helps too :)
As someone who translates Prudence's posts every time, I agree with numbering the posts and clearly marking censored parts 👍
I'm so glad you posted this, I was trying to think of a way do this kind of logging as well! Man, your spreadsheets are incredibly useful. Thank you for those, my friend! 💫
