I’m a skater from my younger years. I love skateboarding. I broke my arm skateboarding and I have two metal plates and 8 screws holding it together - and I am pretty sure I was operated on in a mantis (or some kind) of ship and they “re-broke” my arm and fixed it but I was awake.
The OG JRPrudence Reddit post talked about the feedback loop of positive energy when a performer interacts with a crowd and Street League Skateboarding is a great example of this - I wanted to share all the best tricks from 2024 - you will feel the great energy and excitement as they push the boundaries of skateboarding. It’s so cool to watch it progress and see this stage. When I was skateboarding it was still quite fringe and we got bullied a lot for being skaters 🛹

Bro let’s go this is dope. In middle school I started skateboarding, then switched to a longboard and skated all though high school. Funny enough, I though about busting it out earlier this week and skating before work 🤣 haha I wonder if I still got it.
Fascinating, considering my wife and I were speaking about skateboarding yesterday - then you post this. We're telepathically linked, as you know by now, DLo. Also, I did meddle with skateboarding when I was young in America.
2024 was a great SLS year. The stops don't always turn out too great, lots of sleepers in the past. Can't blame the skaters. But like all the stops in 2024 were bangers.
Braden Hoban as a new mainstay(those impossible variations!), Felipe Gustavo being more consistent after his first win, nyjah being back, yuto being yuto, Sora putting things down even moreso than before snipping yuto and nyjah at their heels. And just a lot of consistency across the board.
When is Ginwoo going to be a part of this? And have you seen those two Korean kids that showed up to the last Tampa Am? They are unbelievably good. How long until they show up?
Good stuff.
