Hello everyone! I hope the weeks and days have been well for you. Just wanted to post a guide on how it can feel breaking through on the path. Why is it that sometimes, the information feels easy to soak in, and other times it’s not? Why is that sometimes we feel “stuck?” Well, this is the example I would like to provide.

Breaking through on the “spiritual” path can feel like multiple walls. Imagine your walking on a road, and in front of you, there is a giant brick wall. Daunting, yet it is stopping you from moving on in the road. You have no choice but to go over it/through it. You break through this giant wall after a little time. Once you are on the other side of this wall, you find another wall, daunting and large, yet slightly smaller than the first wall.
You break through this wall, and continue on. You find there is another wall, smaller than the last. You break through this wall, and the cycle repeats, until you have gotten to the smallest wall, and you break through.
After hitting this milestone, the process repeats. You walk/drive down your metaphorical road for a bit, until you find another set of walls to break through. What will you do? Turn around? Stop? Wait for help? Procrastinate?
No, you keep going and break through those walls.
This is an example of anything we are trying to accomplish. Maybe your goal is to start eating healthy. The hardest wall to break is starting right? So, let’s say you start this new diet. You broke through the first wall! Now, following through with your plan and giving it action, and baby steps keeps you breaking more walls. Eventually, you will break through the smallest wall, and find its easy to continue your diet!
As time will tell, you eventually will find another set of walls, being doubts, temptations, fears, etc. Sometimes these are the first walls to break. Once you break through the hardest one, it always gets easier!
For me, my walls were discovering this website and Prudence! The hardest part was reading the information and learning. Once I started, the walls became easier and easier to break. I had a huge breakthrough a few weeks ago. Now, I have learned a lot, and I have hit another set of walls, waiting to be broken through.
How will you continue to break through your own metaphorical walls? With action, consistency, and for us on the “spiritual” path, meditation and belief in yourself. Belief that you can continue, and move forward despite your challenges and mental blockages. The hardest part of doing anything after all is starting. Staying committed is easy, yet it’s starting that’s always difficult.
Well done!
