Just got to watch this—really good stuff in there. The 8th principal touches on something near and dear to my heart: ignorance, especially willful ignorance, is the bane of existence to me.
Lots of intersecting knowledge the past few days. Before coming here, I would have said that it's things coming together, but it feels more like pieces of a wall falling away, revealing more and more of what lies beyond it—seeing more and more of the TRUTH—a "break through" is a more apt phrase for me.
Occlusion: a process whereby something is hidden or obscured from prominence or view.
ex-occultist NOT as in OCCULT KNOWLEDGE being bad.
ex-occultist AS IN he is no longer of the belief of a gated, hidden, elitist separation of this knowledge.Figured it would be worth saying, as some may fear what occult has been twisted to stand for. Most of his information is explaining the Kybalion information that is essentially "new thought" hermeticism. Beware if you discuss The Kybalion in hermeticist forums though, it's not considered true canon (I call bullshit on this assertion; the soul and heart of the works being in line with the other texts fit well enough and wise enough for me, and purists have denied it for reason most likely that it was released in more recent times of the 1900s)
The Three Initiates, but I think it was thrown out that it might have been one guy, but it's the contents of the works, not the author anyways, that really should be judged.
