Hah. It looks beautiful, but I’m too old to have the patience to play these kinds of games. Give me TCG simulator or Lethal Company! But Elden Ring has some amazing writing despite my man GRRM not finishing his books yet and working on that and everything else instead lol.
i'm generally a lazy gamer. i care more about the immersion and experience rather than the challenge. i like existing in other worlds, and contemplating how real they are on a deeper level, such as how i can perceive and feel the game world i'm in. the memories i have with other people. it feels like actual places sometimes. this game in specific was really healing for me since it's a solo game. i got to spend 400 hours just by myself doing my thing. at a hard time in life, it was very welcome. i'm still arguing with the game tbh lol
i checked out lethal company and its a survival game of some kind? i usually play games like that, and mmos as well. basically anything that allows me to be online with a couple of my loved ones and just vibe out.
it's so so good. it's so deeply immersive. it deals a lot with the themes of death. the world is dying on its own. it's so challenging, yet overcoming that is so worth it.
if you actually do play it, lemme know if you need help or advice <3
