From reading the other Q&As, I understand there are foods, beverages, etc that one should either eliminate completely if not drastically reduce in order to help unblock and open my mind to the real vs what I've been fed (mentally & physically) since birth, such as caffeine (I would imagine this would apply to anything with an addiction capability) and processed food. Guess I'm curious if there is a list out there or where the line is drawn for produce, meat, household things, etc. We currently have a little farm, raising our own chickens for eggs (these have become part of the family so these chickens aren't intended for meat), and also hunt/harvest for our meat source, never more than needed to survive and NEVER for trophy purposes, that will never make sense to me. With respect of course, we decided to "live off the land/sea" versus having to rely on others, not knowing what's in it. Crazy how some countries ban certain additives/ingredients but others just allow anything and everything in order to grow more and make more $. Is it so bad that anything one would get from the grocery store, and held to the government's standards, should be completely avoided? Thanks in advance!

Hello! Thanks for the post my friend. There’s a few things to avoid if you want to have the best results possible with your energy and your mind (in my opinion):
1.) Go organic as possible. It’s not expensive to eat organic! It’s this huge myth, however it can depend on the stores available to your area. There’s a LOT of chemicals sprayed in commercial farming that are sketchy, and chemicals to preserve/store. You can see the extensive list online at least for U.S. Of course a lot of debate if it really hurts you, I think it does. Also dang right avoid those processed foods. Anything like frozen, premade, snack foods, anything that requires a microwave, or premade (Think big brand foods). I buy a bunch of stuff to cook to force myself to eat good. It’s a hassle sometimes, but it works for me!
2.)Drugs. Drugs are bad mmkay? I personally don’t believe in pharmaceuticals, but they can help some people. Avoid all illegal drugs (why isn’t vaping nicotine there yet) and weed can be okay if used very carefully. Prudence commented it can be a a psychic enhancer, and the occasional trip is okay. lol and yes, if you got a dependency on anything except food, water, vitamins and love, it’s probably not great. I like coffee. Being completely sober is the best (I’ve been there!), and is the best way to be clear. However, I think getting out of yourself helps sometimes.
3.) Eating meat isn’t bad btw! Prudence confirmed others out there eat meat (this personally helped me a bit), and some are on all meat diets. It depends on you really. Some take a protein vitamin smoothie (that would be me). If you ask me, there’s a lot of value in being vegetarian and not eating meat. Having been vegetarian for two years then going back to meat, was the move for me. Also lol I’m sure you do, but tell that animal thank you for its life! We also have a farm with livestock, cows, chickens, pigs. You know it’s a challenge lol.
4.) A little talked about idea: Negative people!
The goal is to help everyone. However, when your surrounded by negativity it can mess you up. Surround yourself with winners, and be kind to the lost souls and do what you can to be nice.
5.) F E A R. This is one we all dealing with everyday. This inhibits your mind the most! Let go my friend!
There was a response on this and from what I understand, reasonable amounts of ethically sourced meat are not an issue, however some choose not to eat meat at all. I suspect it has much to do with how you yourself feel about eating it, if you carry residual guilt (I always did) then it will lower your energetic state. It sounds as if for you it's an important part of your lifestyle in balance with nature so I imagine it would be less of an issue for you but eventually you will be able to feel it's impact on your energetic state.
I also see an impact if I eat too mucn sugar, dairy or wheat, I don't feel guilt about that but it does affect my mental state.
Fasting also helps me with this, a good few days allowing my body to process seems to have an impact, particularly if I've binged on something that doesn't agree with me (usually ice cream lol).
I think the rest of your post is absolutely spot on, although I would add that while diet is helpful and does have an impact, for me trauma clearing, shadow work and meditation increased benefits.
🌸 Hi rcknrbn! The word that stands out in your post is "respect" and I salute your intention and way of life.
I know your focus is on food, but the question calls for other aspects of life as well. In particular, I believe streaming services & social networks are engineered towards developing addictive behaviors, and that is a great mind inhibitor. Not to say that watching series and connecting with other people over the internet is bad, not at all! Instead, it's all in how we do it, how mindful we are with the tools. Do we use the tool or is the tool using us? Whether we are concerned with food, entertainment, work/life balance etc, the feeling of connection might be a good indicator of how we're doing. When we eat, do we have a sense of where the food comes from, how it was produced, who produced it? We can consider the millions of beings, miscroscopic or macroscopic, who helped the food grow... And then, eating becomes a very different activity. The feeling of connection itself then can guide us towards specific food choices. Same goes with my example of streaming services and social networks, all relying on computer chips. There are so many things to say about the production of those chips alone, from the mineral extraction to the production. And that is just one aspect of it all, what about the developers, the productions teams, the users, what about the electric grids that power it all? etc. And again, as you realize and take into account the conditions through which the series or the facebook post comes to us, we might be guided towards specific choices in how we spend our time with the internet, and how we entertain ourselves.
Great post. Before I leave any further comment, I believe others may already have solid ideas they should share.
It sounds like what you have is pretty nice. I don't have a full list or anything, js. I would imagine that not eating crazy processed foods and junk food would help. Maybe cutting back on sodas? There might be a list with what foods increase psi abilities I'd wager.
