It just makes me think how powerful our minds are, and how we percieve the world around us. Maybe it sparks some.deeper thoughts in people. Idk. Maybe it sparks something in someone regarding "higher levels of perception"? The tongue is essentially responding to simulated sensory info to create a reality?

Wow thanks for explaining that more. More interesting than the article really. That is some food for thought for sure. Makes me think about how we attach emotion to sensory information too. Do you create much visual art or musc?

Yes, I do! (moreso music as it's my preferred form of expression)

There are forms of emotion synesthesia oddly enough as well. Quite interesting the way perception is a lot more malleable and fluid than we're taught in a society.
